The Foolishness of Unforgiveness Part I

If we were to attempt to identify the number one issue or concern that is keeping the church from reaching it’s full potential, I am sure many would say lack of focus, some would say a shrinking membership, and even more would point to lack of leadership in the church.

While these are legitimate concerns, I contend that the number one issue is unforgiveness that festers like a cancer in the body of Christ. The Apostle Paul reminds us in II Corinthians 2 that if we do not forgive it might cause us to be used by the devil. Isn’t it better that we are instruments of God, rather than tools for the devil? How To Make It Through A Storm

Add 2011 to the list of biggest winter storms of all times. Chicago was hit with a storm of epic proportions. There were many stories of those who were stranded, snowed in the homes and garages, and schools shut down for days. There was no mail delivery, stores were flooded with people scrambling to insure there was food in their homes. I think there are some very practical as well as spiritual points that can help guide us and help us navigate the storms of life.
